Hmmmm, we want to work with our East State Village neighbors who have asked us to decorate with a "Nostalgic Village Theme." At our library, we always do a non-denominational spot of decorating for December/January.
How can we combine non-denominational with a nostalgic village? Any ideas?

Oooh, good question! Are you thinking like "ye cozy olde wintertyme?" sort of stuff? Fakey mantel with fakey oil lamp and rocking chair or overstuffed chair for reading? A bit of Dickens without the Christmas Carol? All wrong? I'll keep thinking.
